Hello All!

I have searched about websites which can help me in my project, so I think this the best one.

I'm a new user for this program.

I have project which is MP3 player and I use ATmega8535L for this project.

My question is how to program this MCU by this program?
Could you give me the steps to program this MCU?

Best Regards,

Sultan

Sultan, me thinks you may need to rub the magic lamp and ask the Gene!

first off all, start a new project, then write your code, then ctrl+F7 ( compile and run ).

AVR studio then automaticly transfers the program to the cpu, and resets the device bringing you to the first line in your main function.

No it doesn't. It starts running the code in the simulator, not the AVR.

Assuming you have selected simulator yes, but if you select for instance JTAG ICEMK2 and target Atmega32, the program will be downloaded to the avr.

Where did the OP mention JTAG? It seems that you are the one doing the assuming.

Besides which it'd be a bloody miracle on a mega8535 - it does not HAVE an OCD interface.

BTW: There is an mp3 player named yammpp which is based on an AVR CPU...
