You might check temperature range. Or, maybe voltage range. Or, maybe maximum oscillator frequency. Or, maybe, something else.

It will likely be one of these!

PU, I think, is the smelly version.

No, seriously though, I think it has to do with the fact that one is ROHS compliant, and the other is not. As the others have mentioned, it's all explained in the datasheet, in the ordering information section.

but the only diference that I can see in the datasheet is that the Atmega88-20PU is Pb-free packaging.
I want to now if exist some diference in the performance or operation.

Well that must be it then. Actually now that the lead-free thing is mentioned, I remember something about those codes doing with lead-free things.

I don't see how being lead-free would affect the performance or operation in any way.

Squared pie is (roughly) 72.92726259 .

As of January 15, 2018, Site fix-up work has begun! Now do your part and report any bugs or deficiencies here

No guarantees, but if we don't report problems they won't get much of  a chance to be fixed! Details/discussions at link given just above.

I claim that the number is correct to at least 6 decimal places. You need to think outside the box (a box being an arrangement of six squares, while we're at it).

The pid you are talking about might be used to calculate the circumference of a non-squared pie.

Johan,

I think I have reviewed every possible permutation for circumferences, areas, volumes, and hyper-volumes in 2, 3, and 4 dimensional space for pie and related objects.

Quite a waste of time, really.

I now get it, and I haven't stopped laughing.

Some days I'm just dumber than others...

You guys refer to Pi R^2... I half way get that.

At work I often refer to Power consumption in terms of I^2R. I'm always asked why that is. So, I pretty much default to explaining the I^2R formula from the mathematical point of reference using Ohms Law in the form:

     P = E * I
     E = I * R

Substituting:

     P = (I * R) * I

And finally:

     P = I^2R

The really funny thing is that, even after providing the mathematical method, those guys still think I talking about myself. You just have to wonder why?

It might be that I slipped and said IR^2...

OK Guys, You’re thinking of the joke as trying to solve an equation for the precise answer. Way over examining it!
Here was the joke as I took it.
Square Pie = 72.92726259

Instantly calculated an estimate and saw a derivative of pie 3.141… squared * maybe 8 contained in the number.
I Didn’t bother from that moment on to calculate the actual answer!!!!
I got the joke regardless of the answer!

Pie Squared! = Square Pie like the one you eat.

That's the Joke! How he derived the exact abstract answer is not important to the joke, at least to me it was and still cracks me up!!

Cheers,
John
