I am in the process of building a custom board running an AT32AP7002 with LCD and all.. The unit will be battery-operated using a single cell Li-Poly battery. I already have designed most of the power supply, but some of the circuit needs to be custom-tailored to the battery, and the battery is proving a b***h to source...

What I am looking for is reasonably-priced UL-listed LiPo cells, 3.7v, >2600maH. Physical size is important, cell should be a flat pad, no more than about 5mm thick. The battery will fit under my board in a 4.3in TFT enclosure..

Do any of you fine gents ever had to source some li-poly cells and if so who did you end up buying from? I am looking at 1000 units orders..

Thanks!

I think I've seen them in DigiKey.

I've seen one at sparkfun,com, but I'd don't recall it's specifications.

The biggest Digikey has is 3.6v 2400mAH AA sized, and they just say "Lithium". What I am looking for is something like this:

But UL-listed, and 2600mAH... :)

EDIT: Just checked sparkfun, can't find any LiPo on there...
