ATSAMD21 Not In Program Device List - Microchip Studio

I am trying to program a SAMD21G chip, using a AVRISP mkII and microchip studio. I have installed the SAMD packs in device pack manager (and restarted the application), however when i go into program device - only the ATMega, ATxmega and ATTinys are shown in the drop down list - i have tried both the AVR and simulation tools and the list is the same - any idea how to get the SAM chips showing here so i can programme it? cheers

You can't use a ISP2 for SAM parts
