I have uploaded a user manual which I have read thoroughly but still I do not understand its interfacing.
You can see page number 12 which has the wiring diagram. The right side of the diagram has the eight pin terminal port whose wiring connection I don't understand.
Does anyone have any idea how the interfacing is going or what can be interface?

My guess is that the open close input will make the barrier up and down. I don't understand what logic needs to be implemented so that that barrier opens and closes.
But the manual is completely clear on the OPEN/CLOSE function. What bit don't you understand?

Open/Close function:
connect +12V and open input ports to send open signal;
connect +12V and close input ports to send close signal;
connect +12V and stop input ports to send stop signal.

This board works on 12 volts but if i want to control it with AVR i will connect a relay to the AVR micro.

You can probably use a pullup, say 1K to pull the open & close pins up to 12V. They don't say what the pin current is (assuming it is rather low). Then you can use NPN or fets to pull the pins low (gnd) & control then by your AVR.
If the pin current is too high for a 1K, you need a push-pull driver, or maybe even a relay (which might be safer for isolation reasons). A relay replaces the switches shown.
If the AVR is right inside the swingarm device, just use a pullup and see if that works. If the AVR is external, somewhere else, use relays.

Er No - Pullups are NOT allowed:
Well pullups are allowed, for instance you could use 12 ohms, and maybe have to pull down really hard and hot. The switch is essentially 0 ohm pullup to the 12V when closed.
There could be an issue where they don't allow the voltage to go to gnd (say the open input pin floats at 10V and destroys something if pulled lower than 8V)--or maybe that puts you into the secret "free parking" mode.
Using the 2 wire switch contact "floats" so no worries about gnd loops, voltage mismatches, etc.
Or they might just be worried that some (unnamed) people would just start wiring in voltages form various places and cause all kinds of screw ups with the module.
I parked in a garage in Europe at the hotel & the gate arm was always open, so I never gave it any thought during my week there. Apparently I was supposed to pay extra, or get a pass or something. Of course when I was rushing to get to the airport, the arm was now closed. So I hit the speaker button to ask about it...cars were piling up behind me & starting to honk, so I was stuck. I couldn't really decipher what was said, and after two minutes someone stomped out of the hotel & unsnapped the arm off the unit and waved me through!

For your barrier gate system the loop detector appears to be an external option providing a contact open/close input, like one of these:

It's the same thing you have at traffic light, it detects the presence of a vehicle like a car. (maybe to open a gate??)
There is usually a large coil (1m x 2m??) embedded into the road surface that is connected to a loop detector box. I used lots of them about 40 years ago when the company I worked for used to make McDonald's drive trough systems.

I think sensor has to be connected in this loop detector terminal only then the presence of vehicle can be detected. The overall plan suggests that the gate should be open when the vehicle is detected and the gate should be closed once the vehicle is passed.
