what is avrisp-lib and how do I use it?

I have 3 usb based ISP device.

1 a 6 pin that shows up as an ARVISP_II usb device and works fine.

2 a 10 pin that show up on atmel AVRISP-lib and atmel 6 does not see it.

3 some new fancy high voltage programmer that also shows up as a AVRISP-lib and does not show in 6.

 

What is this ARVISP-lib and how can I use it? I thought maybe it had to do with libusb but installing that didnt help.

 

 

Looks like the USB ID says its a usb to serial device?

apparently that was it, just installed PL2303 and it worked.
