I noticed that a beta vesion of SP2 for AVR Studio 4.13 is available from Atmel's betaware page: http://www.atmel.no/beta_ware/
I'm going to try it as it has some fixes for crashes running under Vista.
I see that a newer version AVR Studio 4.13 SP2 has since been released at the above web site. The current build is 571 compared with the previous build number of 556.
AVRStudio4.13 SP2 is a pre-release to the release of the STK600. Don't ask me how I know this! I just know it first hand as, I've had a private copy of it since November 26th. I haven't installed it and, no longer have an immediate need of it because I no longer have the product that AVRStudio4.13 SP2 supported in my possession - it was mailed to another AVRFreak, just this morning.
I'd say that the STK600 is nearing it's debut!

That's good news about nearing the debut. The release notes for the SP2 builds have been specifically mentioning the STK600: http://www.atmel.no/beta_ware/as...
The STK600 should make a nice treat for the new year!
He deserves it.
