I am working with GLCD 128x64 having controller ks108b interfaced with Atmega128A. It's working properly, it shoes text and graphics perfectly.  But the problem is sometimes doesn't get on. hardware connection seems absolutely ok.

It would be great if I can get reason behind it or suggestion or solution.

Thanks in advance.

I think we are going to need to see:

a) schematic

b) wiring picture

c) code

Perhaps a startup delay is needed to let the GLCD controller do it's internal init after power up, before trying to send commands/data to it!

Does the data sheet for the device say anything about that?

From memory the KS0108 does not require any special startup sequence.

But like any digital device it does require good reliable wiring.   Preferably soldered wire links or soldered headers mating with soldered sockets.

If you must use Dupont cables make sure that they are new.

Poking random wires into random holes is a recipe for "unreliability"
