I needed an additional SNAP.

When it arrived, I started updating the firmware.

I created a skeleton project in ATtiny2313A with MPLAB x IDE and wrote without connecting the target.

(My purpose is just to update the SNAP firmware so I don't need a target)

This should trigger a firmware update. At least until now.

Now I get a message like this and can't move on.

There are two new SNAPs, both of which are the same.

I tried the same with my SNAP in use.

The firmware was a little old so it was updated.

It can be used without problems.

Can anyone please tell me another way?

What happens if you try a skeleton project for a PIC device? PIC16F18446, or some other... (Still don't need for any target connected.)

Thank you very much.
I was able to select and update the PIC in IPE.

I've already tried this too, but something seems different.

But there is a further problem.

I'm in this state trying to recover one.

However, when I ignored the instructions of "unplug" and "plug in" and left connected, it recovered normally.

Microchip should publish detailed documentation.
