CanOpen / CiA anyone?

Hi all.

 

Just some kind of announcement. I'd like to know what the general interest in CanOpen is. I was thinking about publishing all the code but then again I need to do some documentation work, which doesn't make much sense for me if there isn't any real interest.

 

I wrote a complete stack in C which runs on the AT90Can128 devices. There are about 100 nodes active in my house which are used for shutters, light, door-locks and some fans. It's even possible to update devices via standard CiA messages in the running system without disturbing the communication using my CiA-bootloader.

CAN in general probably comes up more often - but a simple forum search can't distinguish "CAN" (the bus) from "can" the plain English word.
