Thanks Jim - one of the hold backs for me is that I've got 8 bytes in the configuration for the fuses/lock bits and I think the part I was looking at for UPDI had like 10 or more.  I suppose I should have made this area dynamic in my configuration or left some room to expand into.  I think I had some room and already used it.  The short of it is that I will have to make a configuration change which will make a new APC file format that is incompatible this the previous version.  One thing turns into another!  Still, I would like to add UPDI support, so I just need to fit it in with my other projects.
