It's a lot more helpful if you put the image in the post where we can see it - like this:

So did you look at "How to fix Install Errors" ?

See Tip #1 in my signature, below, for how to post images like that:

Top Tips:

  1. How to properly post source code - see: https://www.avrfreaks.net/comment... - also how to properly include images/pictures
  2. "Garbage" characters on a serial terminal are (almost?) invariably due to wrong baud rate - see: https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/serial-communication
  3. Wrong baud rate is usually due to not running at the speed you thought; check by blinking a LED to see if you get the speed you expected
  4. Difference between a crystal, and a crystal oscillatorhttps://www.avrfreaks.net/comment...
  5. When your question is resolved, mark the solution: https://www.avrfreaks.net/comment...

I have the same issue and the "How to fix Installer Errors" takes me to a page that has been out of service since yesterday.

Can you help?

Is there an e-mail where I could ask for support. It has been a week and still I can't install Studio 7 because of this issue.

The Log stops at:

When selecting “How to fix Installer Errors…”

I get a web page that shows:

The “email us” link has no recipient.

Can you provide support.

I would like to start development on an Atmel SAMW25 PRO as soon as possible.

Thank you.

I've seen your answer, but the "How to fix Installer Errors..." link takes you to a dead end:

the "email us" link takes you to an empty address mail form

if you know how to fix this issue, could you please share it. I'm behind on a project that selected a SAMW25 device and I can't even begin to review the device without a IDE.

Thank you.

I found a way to finally get rid of the "MPLAB Communication library" issue.

What I did was instead of using the FULL COMPLETE DOWNLOAD version of the installer, I just used the WEB based installer.
That was it.

use the Web installer version:

http://studio.download.atmel.com...

that will load the Communication Libraries with no problem.
