Trying to run stock WINC1500_SSL_CONNECT_EXAMPLE for with SAM21 explained and WINC1500 xplained.

I get a connect error code 12 and the WINC1500 debug console show a  Missing X509Root error.

But root certs were loaded during firmware update ...

  ....

  >>>Found Certificate:
  >>>     GlobalSign Root CA
  >Writing the certificate to SPI flash...
  Done

  ....

On WINC1500 debug console it shows:

(3770)>> TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256
(3780)(SSL_172.217.12.164)-> Certificate

I'm running into a similar issue, and I cannot for the life of me get the WINC1500 to connect to a WiFi using TLS. I have a dd-wrt router and an RPi running FreeRadius. The debug console is profoundly unhelpful as well. Are the certificates I downloaded to address 0x4000 in the flash not formatted correctly? Is it looking for a certificate that isn't listed? I have no clue.

The WINC1500 is running firmware v19.6.1. I can post the ascii versions of all my certs/keys in code blocks if you think that can help you figure out what's wrong. (None of them are used outside of a development environment.)
