Hello,

can someone please advise me, how to use OPAMP1 external I/O inputs, when you using also external crystal oscillator (XOSC32K)?

We want to use OPAMP0 and OPAMP1 in differential configuration, but OPAMP1 positive input (OA1POS) and negative input (OA1NEG) are on same PINs as XOSC32K - XIN32 (PA00) and XOUT32 (PA01).

Is there something else, what I'm missing? Or you have to choose between using OPAMP or external crystal oscillator?

Thank you,

Jan

Use XIN and XOUT with another crystal (since it can't be 32K then)?

Thank you Lars,

it's good point. We will try it this way.

We will keep it in mind, that it's not possible use external oscillator XOSC32K with OPAMPs in differential configuration on SAML11 at the same time.

Thank you and have a nice day,

Jan

if the registers allow using OPAMPxOUT as OPAMPxNEG then make the connection internally and use a 32KHz oscillator (SiTime or uChip parts are affordable on XIN only.  This only if you need an accurate clock.  If there is no critical timing just use the internal clock?  ... or a MHz clock as Lars said.
