Hey all,

I am going through the typical vendors as well as Aliexpress and I am having little success.

I am looking for an aluminum enclosure with internal PCB slots and mounting flanges.  I would like it to be anodized Black or Blue, but I am not sticking to those colors if I can find teh right sized enclosure.

My PCB is currently at 100mm x 65mm with max component height of 25mm.  The PCB has some wiggle room size wise so I am also not bound by the dimensions.

I only need 5 of them.

I would appreciate some suggestions.

Thanks

Jim,

This is the very reason that after approximating the size and placement aspects of the contents I then select the enclosure.

Ok, and I did follow your 'rule' as my board is 100mm x 65mm. I am looking around but not finding much to my spec with that size board, etc. hence asking for vendor suggestions others may have used in the past.

Candyman!!

You certainly did not disappoint.  I saw some of them you listed, but the last one looks to be what I want.  I am going to contact the vendor in the morning

Thanks!

Hammond is in the mix as well.

The 5 from Ebay is a great price but I need the mounting flange....

Of course you need that once you saw it !   I couldn't find any with flange in the USA

I just noted they might be painted rather than anodized (if that matters)...thought it seems like they are anodized, since the color is even in little cracks

An even lower ali price ($2.81)  ...with tabs

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000282113314.html?scm=1007.22893.149154.0&pvid=a57fbfd2-0dd4-42e4-8fd7-1b83e59934c5&onelink_page_from=ITEM_DETAIL&onelink_item_to=4000282113314&onelink_publisherid=711069832&onelink_memberseq=0&onelink_duration=1.150779&onelink_status=noneresult&onelink_item_from=4000282113314&onelink_subid=NULL&onelink_page_to=ITEM_DETAIL&aff_request_id=b8366f06549a40919ebc2cbb4d79f256-1581521731896-02480-IwPSPrK&aff_platform=promotion&cpt=1581521731896&sk=IwPSPrK&aff_trace_key=b8366f06549a40919ebc2cbb4d79f256-1581521731896-02480-IwPSPrK&terminal_id=1dee113e5af4491b89f1a37114324674

this one says anodized (or they lie)..if true, they probably all are
