A local australian distributor (Rockby) is selling 2SK3061 power mosfets for 50c each

(Sale ends sunday midnight!)

The specs look good for motor control.

I was wondering if anyone out there has used them and had any opinions on them?

2SK3061 are very suitable for motor-control; just be aware of the 5000 pF gate-capacitance. Needs a proper drive(r).

Darren,

I bought 5 pieces last week at Rockby's to use in the current source project. Haven't taken out of their packaging yet. 50 cents each will not hurt you
