I have found something that seems like a problem with AVR32. This might only be with my setup, but now I have a set of files I can not delete. Attached is a photo of the directory tree that was created when importing a project. If anyone else has had this problem, I would be interested in knowing how to correct the problem. The nesting of the files happened when I asked avr studio 32 to import the project from the zip file(un ziped) to rebuild and reload the control panel application.

I am running XP, with SP2. I have the EVK1100 and Jtag MKII. My goal was to reload the control panel application onto the EVK1100.

Cheers,
Caleb

Waoo! I've never seen that one.

From the picture i see you seem to use the Software Framework v1.0.0. There is a newer 1.1.0 version available which you may want to use instead. In this version however the prebuilt AVR32STUDIO workspaces have been removed. To create your Control Panel project under A32S, try the process as described in this post:

Just in case also, the AVR32Studio and AVR32 GNU Toolchain latest versions are available here: http://www.atmel.no/beta_ware
This installer has both latest: http://www.atmel.no/beta_ware/avr32/AVR32DevelopmentTools-1.0.4.exe

Thanks for the information. I will give the links a try, download the latest, and see what I can get to work. I have some ideas about using the UC3A's in some designs, and what to get started on this early, rather than later...
