Well I am cleaning out the lab again.

Heres the deal....EVERYTHING is almost FREE of charge.  I am asking you to pay the shipping costs to your location wherever that is.  If your somewhere that theres some 'friction' regadring shipping to, I cannot send it.

First come, first serve by PM only.  THe timestamp on the PM is your placeholder.  Leaving a post in this thread is not valid.  You may ask for whatever you want, I am not setting limits.

As items are shipped they will be removed, and I will be adding more as I keep cleaning.

So, here is what I have so far:

two DELL Inspiron D531 laptops.  Both have AMD64 CPUs  One has 2Gig ram, the other 4Gig.  One of them overheats and shuts down but a strong fan stops this.

Both have BRAND NEW 240Gig SSD drives with Windows10 Pro on them.  You need to supply a registration key I think.  I don't remember if I registered them yet.

It's worth the consideration just for the hard drives, and you might get a good hack of parts for the screens etc for other projects.

GONE!!

Port Replicator for DELL laptops.  Nothing wrong with it.  TUrns laptop into a desktop

GONE!!!

Dell Inspiron mini Netbook

NO HARD DRIVE, 2GB RAM.  IT does work.  I had a 250GB SSD in it at one point.

GONE!!

Netgear 8 port Gigabit switches, Model GS108.

Both work 100%.  THese were in my lab until I upgraded to Ubiquiti gear.

GONE!!!

Netgear WiFi extender model WN3000RP

Also part of my network until I went to Ubiquiti Networks gear.  Picture flipped and I cannot get it to go right.

Netgear 5 port gigabit switches Model GS305

(2) pieces, Brand new in the box

EDIT: These are on the way to a new home

Power over Ethernet Injector

Turns switches that do not have PoE native to work with PoE devices.  60Watt power capability.

GONE!!

Niles Audio Ceiling Speakers Model CC65

Brand new, never used.  Have them in every bedroom of the house.  Sound great.

5V/30 power supplies.

USED.  But they were pulled out of a working project/system

Thanks for checking this out

Jim

DIGI 2.4GHz XBEE modules, Model Number XB24-ACI

These came from a working system that was decommissioned.  I will make sure they are defaulted, updated firmware and I will clean off all the tape off of them

Humph. I’m even on LI this weekend, and going home with significant empty space in suitcases.
But I think I’m not allowed any more stuff, either...

The 3D printer is still up for grabs, but if its not taken by Friday September 13, 2019 its going to the recycle centre.

THe printer needs a new extruder assembly.  Other than that the X/Y/Z is fully functional.

A freak who was going to take it thought about putting a Dremel Tool on it in place of the Extruder and using it for a small CNC.  Not a bad idea.

Anyway, its time left here is limited.  Friday 3pm NYC time is the close date/time.

Cheers,

Jim

Jim, if only you were just around the corner from me!

Yesterday I bought a bunch of DeWalt battery operated tools that sell new for $1499 from a chippie who wanted to "go Makita". He demonstrated all of them. Circular saw, impact driver, site radio, light, angle grinder, reciprocating saw, 4 lithium batteries and charger. $200 the lot. Oh and a DeWalt totable/tuggable wheeled carry bag. I was so happy with this bargain that I even told Pam! cheeky

You certainly got a good deal Ross! I recently went back to Makita myself. Gave all my Ryobi tools to neighbor.

Did you find a home for the laptops?  Let us know if you decide to tear them down to just the useful RAM and SSDs...  :-)

(Hmmph.  My eldest daughter just dropped off "the laptop before the current one", which I had forgotten existed...  No SSD, though.)

Nope.

THe RAM is useless...too old.  Not bothering with any of that.

Same here... some of this stuff is interesting, but not worth intercontinental shipping costs, unfortunately.

International USPS shipping is not too bad....depending on what you want/cost new ration.

Well, I could use the GS108 switches, depending on shipping costs to Portugal. If it helps saving space/weight, I don't really need the power sources.

PM me an address....but for those I would think local would be cheaper.

We shall see :)
