The code for application note "AVR32752: Using the AVR32 UC3 Static Memory Controller" from the Atmel site and imported as a project into AVR32Studio 2.1.2 does not build with the following error.

 src\SERVICES\USB\CLASS\DFU\EXAMPLES\ISP\BOOT\trampoline.o: In function `program_start':
(.reset+0x2004): undefined reference to `_stext'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
Build error occurred, build is stopped
Time consumed: 9047  ms.

Any insight in why this fails and how to fix it?

Not related to the above problem, and I know this sounds stupid, but I cannot find where in the software framework definitions "AVR32_PM_OSCCTRL0_STARTUP_2048_RCOSC" and "AVR32_PM_OSCCTRL32_STARTUP_8192_RCOSC" are defined. Where are these parameters defined?

10 years and 2 days later I am asking the same question! Kind of a 10-years-anniversary! laugh

So, where ist "AVR32_PM_OSCCTRL0_STARTUP_2048_RCOSC" defined??? Are what value should that be set to?

From the the UC3Axxx datasheet(s) "Power Manager (PM)" section, Oscillator 0/1 control registers, STARTUP field ;
AVR32_PM_OSCCTRL0_STARTUP_2048_RCOSC should be defined as 3

The processor file (eg uc3a0512.h ) includes the processor-specific pm_xxx.h file ( eg pm_231.h ) which contains that definition.
