Hi,

does anyone know of a standalone serial utility that allows monitoring serial input in Decimal and keyboard typing serial data to be sent in HEX like in the Atmel Studio extension Terminal Window?

I've downloaded a few freeware utilities and none of them have these two options together. And if there is a utility that will accept keyboard input as decimal and not just HEX or ASCii that would be even better.

Thanks!

Did you try Bray's terminal...it has some base reception options, though perhaps not what you need.  I don't remember it having any transmitting options

Thanks for the responses!

Unfortunately putty and Bray's terminal don't have the option I need :(

Real term crashes on launch, I'm using windows 7. Screenshot of pop up window attached.

p.s. Real Term has to be launched as admin. It does have the option to send hex, I only wish the GUI were simpler, like atmel terminal.
