Hello all,

First of all, disclaimer: I'm an utter ignorant of the topics discussed on this forum but most internetz searches have brought me here, I'll try my luck, please bear with me.

I'm trying to install a software for a Micorscan LVS device on the Windows 10 machine but it results in a failure because the included Atmel AT32UC3A driver doesn't appear to be signed by the manufacturer. I've tried to contact Microscan (they should be called Omron now) but their solution all point to disabling the driver signature verification performed by Windows 10, which is not an option as we're operating in a corporate locked-down environment.

I went through the inf file of the vendor supplied Atmel driver and this is what I found:

[Strings]
DeviceName = "AT32UC3A3"
VendorName = "Atmel Corp."
SourceName = "AT32UC3A DFU Install Disk"
DeviceID   = "VID_03EB&PID_2FF1"
DeviceGUID = "{1F37742B-3504-4929-92A2-04CFB274891E}"

[Version]
Signature   = "$Windows NT$"
Class       = "libusb-win32 devices"
ClassGuid   = {EB781AAF-9C70-4523-A5DF-642A87ECA567}
Provider    = "libusb-win32"
CatalogFile = AT32UC3A_DFU.cat
DriverVer   = 01/17/2012, 1.2.6.0

What I was hoping to do is to find a more recent driver for the Atmel chipset which is signed by the vendor. Problem is I cannot find any at the Atmel/Microchip site. I'm pretty sure I'm missing something big here. Any help please?

Many thanks

Can

I was finally able to test the proposed solution and it works flawlessly (x64 version tested).

Big thanks to meolsen for the provided solution.
