Hello Foroum,

 

I am using a SAMD51G19A, and based on the data sheet it supports RTC drive. In ATMEL START, I try to ass RTC protocol but the attached error comes up. I can easily add USART but cannot add RTC. Please help!

It does not look like there is a RTC driver to add so what are you adding exactly? The chip may support RTC without there existing a driver in ATMEL START.

From the picture, it looks like it's trying to use an external RTC chip with an SPI (the "RTC5" driver, perhaps?)

Is that what you meant, or are you trying to use the internal RTC peripheral (which they call "calendar" in the list of drivers)?

Thank you. calendar is what I was looking for (to access time and date).
