i dont know if this is not allowed, please let me know if not.

I'm needing a "simple" edit of some open source code for a atmega16 for usb-serial communication.
I'm developing a product and have been focusing on the main controller and dont really have the time or headspace to teach myself all of this right now.

probably would take someone who knows what they are doing 30 min at best.

This post is to find someone interested, not to spell out every detail of what i'm trying to do.

atmega16 for usb-serial communication.

That chip doesn't have USB, so what is the plan? Bit bang USB and tie up the processors or use a USB-TTL chip?

Also it may help if you let people know where about you are located.

The usual problem with this sort of thing is that it may be 30 minutes to patch the code, but it's probably several hours to figure out what it is that you actually want done, plus testing, and "negotiation overhead."  Several hours that the client doesn't want to pay for.

Unless it's something like "I have an Arduino derived gadget and I want to change the 16u2 code to have our VID instead of the Arduino VID"...
