Hello and A Happy New Year to everybody!

I'm very new in the fascinating world of AVR's. I'm most interested now in ATtiny 1-series (816/817 currently). Despite huge awareness of AVR, in general, there is almost no information about this series. I know it is pretty new but it seems also very interesting (price/functionality). As I've seen there are a lot of similarities with the XMEGA family. Maybe an administrator will consider opening a new section for 1-series or adding a branch to the XMEGA section. Anyway, I'm interested in learning about these MCU's and I found almost nothing besides the official documentation/approach. I built a "programmer" based on Arduino Uno using the application written by El Tangas (thank you, great job). I'd like to find some tutorials or some examples but I found only some poor "getting started" guides based on Atmel Studio/Xplained boards.

I'm thinking about using the information about XMEGA but I'm not sure if this is a good approach... I'm pretty stacked at the moment. Any ideas? Links? Something? Thank you very much.

Well seems like an open field, so start writing and posting, then you can become the "freaking" expert on Attiny 1-series here!
