Using External SRAM

Can anyone please give me a tip on how do I have to connect the SRAM with the ATMEGA8515?

I can see that it has 8 pins which are both "Adress and Data Bus", what does that mean? Do I have to connect them with both the address pins and the I/O pins on the SRAM side?

If you can give me a schematic, anything, please be so kind, I couldn't find too much doc on how to actually connect them together

You will find that info on the datasheet. Memories -> External memory interface. It has the schematics and even a part number for the latch you need.

There is a method that is called address bus demultiplexing

check the following link at page 23:

Study the following block diagram, where the central block is the 74HCT573 from the previous pdf link:

There are 2 datasheets, one of which is just a summary. Make sure that you are reading the full datasheets (a couple of hundered pages, it can be found at:
