Can it be modified to suit Touch Screen terminals, probably with XSRAM / Flash?
quite honestly I was disappointed, cause I was looking for a real graphics project, not one that initializes a graphic compatible display. I was looking for generic routines to draw lines circles boxes, bitmaps, maybe even 3D
AND I was looking for efective ways to move data to the display, i.e. to record it online and transfer at constant times, or always writing to the display at once; handle display region updates; so short to speak all the wild stuff, that is IMHO quite complicated.
Since I am on a EL type display the toshiba chip hasn't much value for me :(
I am fully aware that this topic is very very old but it has awakened my interest because I am now in a design that should use a GLCD 240x128.
I have studied your proposal AVR Graphics Project and think it's excellent, well structured and commented, but I got several compilation errors with the headers, what could be predictable after so long time.
Please indicate if you have any updates of your S/W and from where to download, or if you can suggest me where to look for other libraries.
I use Atmel Studio 7, I have reserved the PORTA for ADC and at the moment I simulate Proteus.
Note that SCALAR hasn't made a single post here in nearly ten years. I highly doubt your request will be heard.

Go on: in the >10 years since, GLCD have become commonplace, even for AVR-class processors - just stick "AVR GLCD Library" into your favourite search engine ...
Or just look at Arduino projects ...
