problem after fuse bit programming xmega64a3u by TNM 2000+

hi

 

i use atxmega64a3u in my project and use TNM 2000+ and its 74hc245 converter for PDI programming and work well.

but after program startup time fuse bit from 11-0 time to 00=64ms !!! i lose my connection from TNM to atxmega64a3u and can not to do anything not to reprogram fuse bit or erase or reprogram app.

also my atxmega64a3u application run and work correct and the controller is healthy.

the TNM replay " The device is damage or its ID is turned off " 

can anybody help to solve this issue ???

I'm not familiar with the TNM2000+ Programmer.

The TNM electronics web page says it supports Xmegas, presumably using the PDI interface.

 

Are you using a custom board, or a commercial board, with the Xmega?

 

Do you have any resistors or capacitors on either of the two PDI programming signals?

Looking at the supported device list, the XMEGA64A3 is supported, but the XMEGA64A3U is not.

yes i use custom and suggested board and it work well before i program "startup time" fuse bit to 64 ms .

also i have the same board and this custom board interface and programmer work so many time well.

 

can you suggest some way to restore the fuse bit to default of atxmega64a3u ?

but it function right so many time ! just after programming "startup time " fuse bit , i loss the connection  !!

 

doy you have any idea to restore fuse bit of this atxmega64a3u to default value ??

There is now another Thread in the Mega section about the TNM programmer not working correctly, (while an Atmel Ice works fine on the same hardware).

 

It would appear that the TNM programmers have a bug or two in their programming software...

 

An eMail to the company be in order.

i just made a Jtagice MKII "PROTTOSS ucgozilla design" by At91sam7s64 PDI programmer and program the "startup time" fuse bit from 64ms to 0 ms the default value under iar 6.4 compiler !!

and now the TNM 2000+ can read and reprogram the atxmegq64a3u.
