I am providing 0-5 volts into input 0 of adc. It starts giving reading above 0 when input voltage is ~4 volts/ When it does measure it is very unstable.
I am using free running mode, the sampling rate is in range, I read low then high and don't change the mux so that it constantly measures channel 0 and I am not messing around with port C..
Any hint?
Thanks for being there

Hi,
as far as i experianced the 10 bit ADC is only to be used as a 8 bit ADC. I ignore the to lowes bit´s and make it into a 8Bit. Gets it a bit more stable. If anybody has a better way, it would be good to know.

After I checked everything else I changed the 4433 chip to a new one and everything is OK now.
So sorry for the false alarm and thanks to everyone that tried to help.
