I want to connect a LCD display to my stk 500. Do some have schematics for this connection?
What socket shall i use? I suppose it is possible to use the expand sockets.
Display i want to use is: 2*24. (14 pins socket).

Hi Per

You can have a look at the Codevision website (see Tools on this website), download the evaluation version of the compiler, install it and have a look at the LCD example. It includes the connection diagram. It's by far the easiest way to get an LCD going. Get yourself a ribbon cable with a 10 pin header socket on the end, solder the other end into your LCD and you'll only need 1 port to drive an LCD from your STK500. It works a treat!
