Somebody mentioned sparkfun in a post a while back so I checked them out. Very cool - lots of neat devboards (AVR and otherwise) and gadgets.
Does anybody know of some other vendors like them? I'm looking for a nice AVR devboard with a display and was wondering where else I could look.

I've heard good things about the AVR products at ERE (www.ere.co.th), but never tried them myself. A warning; ERE's website runs like it's being hosted on a PIC ;).

Pololu makes some AVR based modules for hobby robotics. Check out the Orangutan board. http://www.pololu.com/products/elec.html#botcontrol
Futurlec also has a number of dev. boards. I have no experience with the boards, but I've bought various components from them a few times, and there has been no problems dealing with them - rather quick shipping (about a week to Norway) and reasonable shipping rates.

I've heard the opposite here a few times (but perhaps that's only the Australian arm of the company). Several members have complained here of poor customer service and terrible shipping times.
Good prices though, and their boards look ok.
