Hi Everyone,

For my friends here at AVRFREAKS:  I am going to give away a 256K Autoprogrammer to two lucky winners!  Postage is included for US folks; I'll cover up to $5 in shipping for outside the US.

Simply reply here with an "I'm in" and you will be entered to win!

My lovely wife will draw two names on Christmas day and I will announce the winners here!

Here is a pic of the latest version, though I'm out of red and back to green ones!

I'm a bit late in putting this up this year, so there are only a couple of days, but better late than never!

Merry CHRISTmas everyone!!

Alan

Congratulations John and Eugene.

Thanks again Alan for this "event" that didn't require mistreatment of any reindeer.

Hi Alan,

Perhaps you answered this question before, but a "quick search", (is there any such thing on this site?), failed to find the answer:

What is the reason for the squiggly trace just below chip U2 within the photo in the original post?

Thanks,

JC

Hi JC,

It is me being "fancy" and making the USB D+ and D- lines the same length so that they are balanced.  It worked fine before I did this in previous versions however...

Thanks,

Alan

OK, I got mine about a week ago. Thank you, Alan!
Finally got a chance to try it.

There was a little issue with my hex file. But otherwise everything else went pretty smoothly. (The last (and only) time I used something similar was a while ago, don't remember what it was exactly (Eqtools?), I really hated the GUI. But then again, I'm not a GUI person.)

I liked the multiple firmware option. I programmed an xmega and a mega with a single configuration.

Eugene

EDIT: Editing for the n-th time. Never remember how many br commands it needs...

Excellent.

>There was a little issue with my hex file.

I'm going to modify the HEX file load code I am using to ignore "03" type record you have as soon as I get a chance.

Have a great day,

Alan
