Googling mail order dragon bride brings unexpected results.

I think I'll try the coffee. Back in 15.

P.S. Hope you're not referring to the links in the photo ;)

array [ ] = {0x77,Ox77,0x77,0x2E,0x61,0x6C,0x6C,0x61,0x6D,0x65,0x72,0x69,0x63,0x61,0x6E,0x2E,0x63,0x6F,0x6D};

Very clever URL - but the digit before the second w of "www." is an O rather than an 0 so this doesn't compile immediately.

Cliff

PS Odd thing is that when I search that site it lists the Dragon but says "Not available online" - did you have to phone 1-800-573-ASAP to order then?

Yes, yes. Of course, I won't take all of the credit. Blugoo and I both played our parts very well. Didn't once deviate from the rehearsed script.

No Cliff I placed it online last night on their website and confirmed it this morning on the phone with the lady that handles the online web orders...she said I was "numero uno" in the line......sorry about the typo...just having a bit of fun :D

I thought for sure, that you thought, that we could follow the link by clicking on the red [Add to Shopping Basket] or blue [Checkout] in the photo. :shock: It was only after reading my own post again (and some coffee) that the link above the photo caught my attention :lol:

Good one!

Sorry to spoil the fun, but I've been looking at Dragons for developing on large chips (Mega128, etc). The description sounds like it will only handle up to 32K.

Do I forget about it for now?

Thanks

Dragon is only supposed to work with 32K max so you will simply need JTAG ICE MK1 or MK2 for the M128, that's what I use at least.

The Dragon will PROGRAM (ISP, HVPP, HVSP) any of the AVRs in the AVR lineup eventually - it's only got limited support at the moment while Atmel gets the bugs out and finished SP3. It can dW or JTAG any of the AVR devices (again when supported) whose flash size is less than or equal to 32KB.
