I can debug (Yay!! ??)

That really is a money grab. Almost the price of the interface for a tiny breakout board, a cable that came with the interface ()at least I have two?), and another squidly cable.

At least I can debug.

The cable between the device itself and the breakout board is so short that the device is laying on top of my STK, though. Looks like a M2F 10-pin ribbon cable is going to be another $10.

At least I can debug!

Good grief NO!

And I would not extend that cable too much as there will come a point where the communications will no longer work....I tried it with a dragon and a JTAG3 wink

Interesting enough they mini 10 pin connectors with the tab and 0.625mm pitch are actually a few dollars each.

I did the same and made a couple up with longer cables, best idea ever!
