Hi,

I'm testing a ATWILC1000-MR110PB demo board on SAMA5D3 Xplained evaluation platform. After running precompiled linux and filesytem image named "wilc1000_with_sama5d3_xplaind_linux-on_3.18" got from local Atmel distributor, I want to try the latest  ATWILC1000 driver dowloaded from internet site /wireless-driver. The issue is that I cant get the firmware loaded, here kernel message:

modprobe wilc1000.ko
IN INIT FUNCTION
*** WILC1000 driver VERSION=[14.0.1] REVISON=[249] FW_VER=[14.0.1] ***

For information I downloaded kernel 3.18 from the same site and merged with wilk1000 driver of different version 13.x 14.x but always get the message above. The board seems to work fine: mount USB pen drive and MMC/SD card without any problem, I also tried an old Zydas  Wifi pendrive and it works OK.

Thank you for your help!

Hi,

Solved! The problem was an erroneous activation of the Kernel configuration "Use out of band interrupt", on a standard SDIO slot it is'n connected!

Thanks!

Francesco
