Maybe i'm loosing any reputation here (did i ever have one?) in posting this query, but well, you can't always win...
I was wondering about any update to the GUI around avrdude, which in version 0.2.0 still doesn't provide the option of specifying STK500V2 or AVRISPV2 as the programmer type. So i finally installed Dev-Cpp and wxWidgets, spent the better part of a nice day to fight with - or against - the weirdnesses of another freeware compiler and toolchain, and finally came up with a working version of avrdude-gui which provides the above options. At the same time i fixed the bug reported at sourceforge around writing fuse values.
My question is: is it of any use, or did i miss something obvious, since i noticed that noone ever was complaining about missing features in avrdude-gui?!? So is there a follow-up of that GUI or even a newer version than 0.2.0? (I took the freedom to increase it to 0.2.1 for my work, although my added value is at least an order of magnitude less than the 2nd decimal place in the version number  )
If the above does make any sense, i will upload the source and windows binary into the projects section, but i'd first like to get some feedback.
