Welcome to the Atmel Studio forum for ARM-related discussions
So how does one know if a Studio bug is AVR related or ARM related or maybe even UC3 related? ie most users will say they have a problem with Studio but they don't mention what chip they are using.
another ie Studio will not see my debugger or Studio doesn't install or load or crashes etc.
Personally, I don't think the Studio forum belongs under a specific product line. My thought is that there should be a group of separate forums for all tools.
Yep, too many forums mean information won't be found.
Posts could be auto-tagged with the device/IDE the author is using (using their profile). It would not matter where they posted.
BTW: to experience the power of the search function, try this search: https://community.atmel.com/searc... Satisfied? Now sort by Relevancy: ridiculous results.

Search needs attention but I don't understand your point with the link you provided. The link doesn't include any keywords so the results show everything. Also, the default sort order is by relevance so clicking on that sort link doesn't change anything (the link is black to indicate it's selected but the link shouldn't be active).
Am I missing something?
@Michael: the point is very simple, the link shows how search works, exactly because there are no keywords and it goes off and does its thing.
It shows search prioritizes the eldest results. Exactly the opposite result, showing the latest posts, would have been more relevant.
So I click on "Relevance", because there seems to be no relevance.
I have installed Atmel studio 7 to my laptop (window 7).
When I build a sample solution, I got an error:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Atmel\Studio\7.0\shellUtils\make.exe all
process_begin: CreateProcess(C:\Users\Nam\AppData\Local\Temp\make4028-1.bat, C:\Users\Nam\AppData\Local\Temp\make4028-1.bat, ...) failed.
make (e=2): The system cannot find the file specified.

Build FAILED.

Hop somebody can show me to fix it.
Thanks in advance.

Hi guys,
I am new to Atmel Studio. I have installed Atmel Studio 7 on windows 8.
After Build and "Start Debugging and Break", the debugger rarely works. It frequently crashes with "Launch Failed" Error.
Please help me out with this problem. TIA
Please find the attachment for the error.
