I have recently started using the AT86RF233 transceiver. I am trying to transmit a frame of data using this transceiver. I am pretty sure that the data is being written to the transceiver's buffer since the SPI receive gives me the data that I have written through SPI transmit. I initiate the transmission by setting the SLP_TR pin to high. However, when I use a sniffer to receive the transmitted packets, it always receives a frame with some garbage values.

I have been trying to look into the datasheet to figure out if I am writing to the correct buffer and find out from which buffer the data is received on the sniffer but to no success. Could someone help me figure out what could I be overlooking.

Why not look at any working code and compare settings with yours? For example LwMesh has very simple PHY driver.
