i have been trying to find a 40pin DIP version of the AT90S8515, but no one has it in stock...digikey, newark, active...can anyone help me out here?

Looks like they have the 4Mhz part, but not the 8Mhz part... Looks like Chris' offer is your best bet :)

The Radioshack.com here in denver has the 8515 8MHz part in stock (I bought 2 last week). The
price is a bit expensive ($10.95 each).

If you don't have a radioshack.com store near you, try calling them directly. The online store
catalog does not list them at all.
