Hello,

Is there any C# based API available to access ATmega256RFR2 Bitcloud command via serial port ?

Thanks,

Hemal

There is no proper embedded serial implementation in a first place, so no C# either.

What about existing serial API? Is there any tutorials or examples on that?

There is no existing serial API. There was SerialNet, but that was discontinued. There is also ZAppSi, but the serial interface is not documented and designed to work with a host side that provides C APIs. It is alos not very reliable and complete.

If you're wanting to do C# serial communications and need an API, I pull what I need out of Termie.

As Alex has pointed out the serial communications on Windows is terrible in any language.

Happy Trails,

Mike

I've done OK with RS232 and virtual COM with windows 7 (and earlier) with C/C++.

You just have to avoid C# and VB.net and its VM.
