Issue #AVRSV-3387:
An incompatibility issue with Visual Studio Express 2008 can make Atmel Studio 6 fail to open and
compile C files. Workaround: Disable Visual Assist using the command "Enable/Disable Visual Assist
X" on the VAssistX menu.

Is that just Visual Studio Express 2008, or any version?

There is no mention of this in the Studio 6.2 Release Note - was it fixed? Beta or full?

Are there any other co-existence issues with Atmel Studio 6.2 - Beta or full?

Visual Studio 2010 Express co-exists with Atmel Studio 6.2.1153.  I see no issues.  I don't know what visual assist is though.  I wear glasses which does assist my visual.

P.S.  I had a nasty problem when using Atmel Studio 6.2.beta that went away when I installed 6.2.1153.  Using my JTAGICE2 was an iffy thing.  If it was Tuesday it would work for a couple of minutes.  If it was Wednesday it would work for only a couple of seconds.  It may have been dependent on the phase of the moon.

Help. I can't delete this thing.

This forum software seems to be a blend of WYSIWYG with a little magic.  Now you see your post and now you don't.
