ATTiny45 Compatibility mode

It looks as if you have typos in the drop-down.

As far as I can see, if you choose "6.4MHz RC", you go into "ATtiny15 Compatibility" mode. Consequently you get PORTB changes, PLL changes, Timer changes, CLKPR, ...

Why do you want tiny15 mode ?

Just select a non-6.4MHz setting to recover from brain-death.

If you prefer 6.4MHz, just recalibrate the 8MHz RC to run slower via OSCCAL.
