Now it really start to irritate me with all the cut and paste errors in the combined datasheet for mega164 324 644
Are there a place where there are a old datasheet with only the mega324 can be downloaded ?
Where are there a "clean" mega324 datasheet

LOL. I suppose that is true. I've found the giant "omnibus" datasheets for that family and the Mega48 family to be useful.
As the '324 datasheet is probably a cut/paste from similar models, do you really think it would be better?

I don't think there is such an animal. I opened mine, and it is the old copy-protected type so I cannot easily paste info here. But it covers all three models (even though the '644 had its own at one time??).

It is about 4MB. I can zip it and post it somewhere if you really want it.

I have this data sheet:

Edit: A google search for "8152A–AVR–11/08" finds this link, among others,
http://catalog.gaw.ru/project/download.php?id=14595 which appears to be identical to my copy.
But OP doesn't >>want<< the omnibus datasheet.
And as I noted I have the earliest version of doc8011. "Old" versions (but perhaps not the A) can be found with a Google search for doc8011.
ATmega324PA 8152A–AVR–11/08
Indeed--I have all kinds of AVR datasheets downloaded, but I must have missed that Atmel "forked" from doc8011 to this series (where doc8152 is apparently the '324 version) before the "white" doc8272:
ATmega164A
ATmega164PA
ATmega324A
ATmega324PA
ATmega644A
ATmega644PA
ATmega1284

So how does doc8252 relate to your doc8152? ;) sigh. and lol. Digging...
Wait a minute... ;) The doc8152 A you posted is dated 11/08 and is for the PA.
It isn't clear whether sparrow2 is after the P/V or PA version. :twisted.
From my "inventory":
Date Doc Rev Models 08/06 8011 A 164P/V 324P/V 644P/V 10/06 8011 C 164P/V 324P/V 644P/V 02/07 8011 D same 08/07 8011 G same 10/09 8011 N same 01/10 8272 A 164A/PA 324A/PA 644A/PA 1284/P note this is the "white" version, 8MB 06/11 8272 C same
As the doc8152A is 11/08, then there indeed was a series of individual datasheets for the A models when they first came out?
So sparrow2 needs to tell us which flavour he needs.

I think they use the same person to do the Atmel website and the data sheets. The cut and paste is rampant.
Hi again
I don't care about P A etc. I don't use it.
I just get so pis¤#%%& that a company at Atmel
don't care about getting the corrected the datasheets
the newest version removed 1284, but there are still errors, I guess they have had a school kid to do it, (for sure not a engineer).
I will try to find 8152A if not on the net then perhaps on a CD
update the link worked
Thanks
I will try to find 8152A
sbennett gave a link above
Earliest one I could find:
http://web.archive.org/web/20051...
The product page was crawled on 2005-10-22, but the PDF of the datasheet linked therein has the following footer:
2593A–AVR–06/05
This is the initial revision.
It was always a combined datasheet for the 164/324/644. The 'omnibus' datasheet which added the 1284 came later.
The above link has a drop-in panel at the top (inserted by the wayback machine) that let's you find more recent versions of the product page, but at some point it will break as the web product id for the 324 was changed. You can always just start at archive.org and look at archived copies of atmel.com at any point in time.
