Agilent HCMS-3917 Display Help needed

Hi All AVR programmers

I bought on ebay Agilent HCMS-3917 dot matrix displays,
today they did arrive. :-)
As I read the datasheet, they seem pretty straightforward, but time is
crucial for my project, I have 24 hours .

Does anyone have some code in C or Asm or Bascom Basic to get a string displayed on this modules?

At my company we have a Christmas party in two days and I would like to tag this display on my shirt and give the other two I have bought colleagues as a present.

I only want the string "Merry XMAS" displayed (great would be if the string tickers along the display).

Any help is greatly appreciated

If you can read assembler in general you probably can use this appnote.
