hi guys:
i can,t programming the atmega-8 by using the all-11 programmer,it need the calibration byte for programming,what is it,and how can i programming the atmega-8 by this programmer?

The calibration byte allows you to set a value to try and adjust the internal oscillator if it's running a bit too fast/slow.

You shouldn't need this. I expect that with your programming software, you're telling it to program the calibration byte, but not specifying the byte to program. Instead of trying to find the byte to set, you should try and disable the setting of the calibration altogether.

thank you clancy.....excuse my Iam beginner.
that`s right ,there is a message appears through the programming by the programmer rquires a calibration byte.
when I made my code on the "avrstudio program" ,the calibration byte was not required ,it appears only when I want to program my atmega-8L on the programmer .
what is the calibration byte ,and what is its value.
