Hi again. I think i have messed up my raven USB stick after 1 day of owning it. Crying or Very sad
I was following an ArchRock tutorial on how to burn the ArchRock 6lowpan firmware to the at90usb1287 which I did succesfully. I did thius in order to test out some example programs . The Archrock firmware uploaded fine and the computer recognized it. Now, though, I want to reflash the original firmware to the usbstick but to my horror, when i connect the USB stick to the copmputer and try to reprogram the raven usb stick. AVR studio gives the error message "Failed to identify target, would you like to try with reset enabled?"
And then goes on to say "A problem occured when executing the command blah blah blah... "
The usb stick is connected to the dragon via the small to big adaptor. Therre was no problem reading the 6lowpan to the device but now i'm fucked.. Evil or Very Mad can anyone help me in this issue please?? please??

ITs OK! I found out that the Dragon was at fault...
I read the 1284 of a raven board and then connected the dragon back up to the USB stick. It read perfectly so i reflashed the original firmware back.:0
I have stopped crying. Smile

JTAG can be disabled by the firmware, I know the 3290p does that because the temperature sensor is on a jtag pin. Click yes if the Dragon offers to reset, can't hurt anything that I know of and avoids the need to reenable JTAG from the running program.

Don't see why connecting to a 1284p fixed anything though. Maybe the unplugging and replugging to the USB stick did something.

Hi Dak. I have my suspisions that the AVR dragon was stuck in some obscure way, where it couldnt connect to the usbstick. I also suspect that by connecting to the 1284 and reading that, it somehow cleared the dragon of whatever was stopping it reading the USB stick. Ive No idea really but i'm glad i followed my hunch.I'd already tried unplugging and re plugging everything including the computer! My guess is it had something to do with the reset like you say. Now onto reading about Bitcloud..:S
