Just got some pretty cool 5AH lithium batteries that I figure on using to power trains. They're "GTL LS 18650."
The charger came with some curious cautions:
I'll be careful not to short them with mental equipment |

They should write "wet hands" instead of "welt hand", shouldn't they?)
I suppose there is "made in chine" somewhere at the bottom (at the back) of the charger. |

And don't put the charger close to children, it overcharges them. |

I once bought an OS Max model airplane engine made in Japan. Upon reading the instructions, I was surprised to find it used a "grow plug". I have also been warned not to stop the chain on my Husqvarna chainsaw with my hand.

Doesn't it mean I can stop the chain with other hands? |

Of-course you have. You are in the US, where everything dengerous have to be spelled out explicitly or the plain stupid and ignorant user can sue Husqvarna for a billion-trillion bucks because "It didn't say you shouldn't use your hand to stop the chain...".
When I was doing my parachute-tandem jump the harness had a marking aimed at the derailed American sue-me-sue-you-sue-everybody system:
Quote:
Use of this equipment may cause serious injury or death.
No *?!
[And I have just seen the patches to AVRfreaks in action for the first time. Just after the quote-block above I actually used the word ess-eich-iee-tee, which the forum software converts to '*'. Now can we have the patch for how posts are marked read or not, please?!?] |

That's rich! OX Max was my favorite make of engines. So if you don't use your hand, you use your genitals?
I do the visuals at Church, and sometimes there's a Spanish verse in one of the songs. Since I don't read Spanish, I always ask somebody who does to proof read the "slides" before the service. Saves much embarrassment. |
