Hi folks,
As you may have noticed, there was an every day bombardment of SPAM on AVRfreaks.net
To stop that, new user registration is closed (as per May 5th, 2012). Of course this is just a temporary situation. Once a new procedure for registering is in place, the doors open up again for new members.

Why should it bounce? The email address can be real, everything else false.

Over the month of April AVR Freaks registered 1,567 new members, averaging 52/day, minimum 42/day, maximum 71/day.
Since blocking of new members began on May 3rd or 4th I really wonder what is going on here with members joining since then.
If the admins made these as test registrations they've been quite creative with names and have stayed up very late...
I decided to make this post after noticing Martinion joining and immediately making an Adidas spam post in the Wireless forum.
