I am using the AVR32UC3A 32bits MCU and I have a codec IC which use I2S interface. On the codec there is only one pin for frame sync, but on the MCU there are two SSC frame sync pins, they are TX_FRAME_SYNC and RX_FRAME_SYNC.

I would like to ask how to connect them? Should I short the TX_FRAME_SYNC and RX_FRAME_SYN and connect both to the frame sync pin on the codec?

Thank you.
