Atmel will have a space there. And I'm considering my travel plans.... But I will very probably be there.

Awesome, I didn't know Atmel would have a booth there. I'll have to hunt it down and visit.

Find the Arduino people, and we'll be right there. We're sponsoring the Arudino area. Smile

The booth isn't going to be all arduino right? I mean arduino is great and such but I would rather see more of the new Atmel stuff and etc...

Perhaps there is some announcement to be made? It would be About <expletive deleted> Time!

(No, I don't expect anyone associated with Arduino or Atmel) to confirm, deny, or even comment...)

Well, the Arduino community is big at the Maker Faire. This is not the Embedded Systems Conference (now Design West). So, it's not about Atmel per se; it is about the Arduino.

At Maker Faire in NY last September, Arduino announced Arduino 1.0 IDE and APIs, Arduino Leonardo (based on a USB AVR), and Arduino Due (based on an Atmel ARM chip.) The latter two "In colloboration with Atmel." "For release by the end of the year." Since then, nothing...
