Dear all
I want to know if you happen to know chips that can take a TFT as output and make them a normal PC monitor. Given me a VGA or DVI connection. |

That makes no sense. Are you asking for an IC that controls a TFT display and use it's output to convert to VGA?
One simpler idea would be to go to the TFT controllers input and work from there.

What kind of TFT signalling anyway? LVDS or something else?
But usually the display controller will have an internal split so it has two scanning outputs for one DRAM frame buffer. One with xVGA timing and one doing TFT driving over LVDS. If you think about most laptops that have both an internal LCD and an external 15 pin VGA connector their display controllers are doing this.
It would be very unusual (impossible?) to take the TFT scan signals and try to reconstitute them into xVGA. |

| I mean some ASIC. I have a board with a MST717C-LF chip, the chip takes VGA signal and convert it to a 800x480 RGB TFT, the chip is programmable and it has a 25X SPI eeprom. But I could not find the chip on digikey. I want a solution that can be found easily. |

I have some RGB TFT,it's desirable to be RGB, but if there is no other option I can use LVDS convertors. |

| LVDS is RGB - it's a way of signalling that allows for high frequency signalling as RGB can be up at 110MHz or more. It uses differential signalling (like USB, MIDI and RS485). |

| The chips I've seen are from obscure Chinese manufacturers. There's plenty of boards using such chips on Ebay. |
